To get started with this helpful tool, go to https://www.google.com/business/ and click “Start Now”. Then, follow the prompts and click on “Create account.”
Next, just follow the prompts it gives you to create the account. Here is all of the info you will need to fill out:
- Password
- Phone number (optional)
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Agree to Privacy and Terms
- Name of Business
- Street address
- Business Category
- Phone number & website
- Get verified by mail (ensure account holder has access to this physical address to receive the mail and verify.)
Once you have verified your identity and filled out all of this information, you are all set! Your business information should be automatically populated across all of the aforementioned tools.
One thing to note is that you should make sure you fill out all of this information as accurately as you can for the best results. The better you handle this process, the better and more relevant your organic search results will be.
